Hi, I am Maisie a travel and tourism university student from York. This blog is designed to aid you in getting an insight into the most exclusive and atypical bars around York and potentially around the world. Being primarily located in York, I will be attempting the challenge of experiencing one bar every week. In the effort of visiting and reviewing a grand total of 365 bars in York. I know that this is an immense challenge, but I hope that myself and my friends will provide you the best feedback of the bars that we allocate. The aim is to visit at least one bar a week and provide you with a blog each week detailing our experience. In each bar we will be testing three main drinks to provide a variety as well as a comparison. The first drink will always be the bars specialty; this is the drink that they make all year around and are renowned for. We will also be testing a porn star martini in each bar to enable us to compare a traditional classic. Finally, we will be trying a mocktail for those who do not necessarily want to drink but want to enjoy the atmosphere of the night life. We will be scoring each drink out of ten; one being the worse and ten being incredible. Not only this but we will also be looking at the general atmosphere and vibe of the bar as well as the service.
